The CSIO5* of France of La Baule 2020 is canceled

In view of the evolving nature of the Covid-19 outbreak on the national territory, and the governmental measures, the organizing committee of the Longines International Jumping of La Baule has decided to cancel the 2020 edition of the CSIO5* of France, first leg of the European Division 1 of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ circuit. The CSIO5* of France was supposed to celebrate its 60th birthday from 14th to 17th May, at the François André stadium.

Rémi Cléro, President of the Longines International Jumping of La Baule:
« After concertation with the City of La Baule and the French Equestrian Federation, it is with great sorrow that we have decided to cancel the 2020 Longines International Jumping of La Baule. But it is our duty and responsability to implement all sanitary and safety necessary decisions to face the virus, as required by the President of the French Republic and the government.
Today, we have a special thought for the actors of the horse industry and equestrian sports, our partners, our faithful public, and we address them our strong support in this difficult time for our country. Of course, our commitment to the CSIO5* of France remains intact and we will meet again for the 2021 edition, from 13th to 16th May, to celebrate this 60th birthday of the La Baule show.
